I have painted this tyranids some month ago to get a short break from my wolves and have visual display for a color scheme which was floating around in my head for a long time. May be i add some stripes to the back plates but currently i think they are fine.
Ich habe dieses Ganten als kurze Pause von meinen Wölfen bemalt. Auch wollte ich sehen wie ein bestimmtes Farbschema in der Menge aussieht welches mir schon eine Weile im Kopf herumgespukt ist. Eventuell werde ich noch ein paar Streifen auf dem Rückenpanzer hinzufügen, aber für den Moment bin ich ganz zufrieden damit.

Die Hormis sehen an sich nicht schlecht aus, doch erinnern diese mich vom Schema her zu sehr an deine Wölfe. Willst du nicht mal etwas in ganz anderen Farben bemalen? 😉
ja, von den Farben her sind sie auch recht dunkel gehalten. so gesehen erinnern sie doch etwas an die Wölfe. Ich kann nicht ausschließen, dass mich das beeinflusst hat. Der ursprüngliche Gedanke war jedoch tatsächlich, ein dunkles Farbschema zu bemalen, da doch recht viele Tyraniden sehr hell und meist in knochenharten gehalten sind.
Und etwas Abwechslung wäre tatsächlich nicht schlecht. Jedoch stehen gerade noch ein paar Sachen für die Wölfe in der Pipeline und so wird es wohl noch etwas dauern 🙂

Most of the Twitter-People also say that they are fine, and if strips is should make them very thin. May if i pay some larger bugs i will consider them. On the small one its ok.
Yeah, I agree. Maybe on the properly Monstrous Creature sized models like Carnifexes and upward, but these little guys are great as they are.
Im not sure if there are any reinforcements for them are coming in the near future, but never say no

thats true ! And the Tervigon is a model for such an impulsive buy 🙂 Certainly one of the most impressive tyranid models.
I like the pose of the model. Its very tall and have an impressive look. Loots of claws and such stuff. And its very dynamic compared to for e.g the Tervigon.
Schönes Farbschema, vielleicht gibt es demnächst mehr Bilder der vergrößerten Armee (auch wenn dieser Eintrag hier schon recht alt ist)?
